Your three-stage daily hydration routine

The products share the AquaLock hydration concept but are used at different times. The routine does not require Serum™ and HydraGel™ to be layered together in the same application.

Morning treatment

Replenish and prepare

AquaLock Serum™ is the principal concentrated morning hydration step.

1

Cleanse

Use a mild cleanser, then gently dry the face and neck.

2

Apply treatment products first

Apply Youthful CEFQ™, Q-Peptide Pro™ or another compatible treatment serum when used.

3

Apply AquaLock Serum™

Spread approximately 2–4 drops in a thin, even layer over the face and neck.

4

Finish and protect

Add moisturiser if required, then apply broad-spectrum sunscreen as the final morning skincare step.

Why Serum™ in the morning?

It provides the concentrated AquaLock system in a lightweight, fast-spreading format suited to routine layering and humid climates.

Daytime top-up

Refresh when needed

AquaLock SkinMist™ is the lighter, diluted format for convenient daytime use.

1

Assess skin comfort

Use when skin feels dry, tight or depleted by air-conditioning, heat, travel or prolonged indoor exposure.

2

Mist lightly

Close the eyes and mouth, hold the bottle approximately 20–25 cm away and mist sparingly over the face and neck.

3

Allow to settle

Let the mist absorb naturally or gently press it into the skin with clean hands. Avoid rubbing.

4

Maintain sunscreen

Misting or touching the face may affect sunscreen coverage. Reapply sunscreen as appropriate for continued UV protection.

Why SkinMist™ during the day?

Its fine, lightweight format makes it easier to refresh hydration without applying another full serum or gel layer.

Night-time treatment

Cushion and support

AquaLock HydraGel™ becomes the principal evening hydration step.

1

Cleanse

Remove sunscreen, makeup and surface residue, then gently dry the skin.

2

Apply night treatment first

Use Q-Retinol Pro™, Q-Peptide Pro™ or another compatible evening treatment when required.

3

Apply AquaLock HydraGel™

Spread a small amount in a thin, even layer over the face and neck. Avoid direct eye contact.

4

Leave on overnight

Allow the gel to remain as the final hydration step. A thicker application is not required.

Why HydraGel™ at night?

The silica-thickened gel provides greater cushion, controlled application and a more substantial overnight hydration experience.

Three formats, three time-specific roles

This is not a maximum-layering routine. Serum™ and HydraGel™ share the same core AquaLock active system, while SkinMist™ is the lighter, diluted spray format. The benefit of the three-way routine comes from assigning each texture to the time when it is most practical: fluid concentration in the morning, mist convenience during the day and gel cushioning at night.

A multi-pathway hydration system

The AquaLock family combines complementary hydration, conditioning and antioxidant support rather than relying on one ingredient or one texture.

Humectant support

Sodium PCA, sodium lactate, urea, trehalose, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate support surface hydration and water retention.

Barrier comfort

Squalane, beta-glucan, Lactobacillus ferment and aloe provide complementary conditioning and comfort support.

Antioxidant support

Q10, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, tocotrienols, ferulic acid, green tea, resveratrol and quercetin support healthy-looking skin condition.

Format engineering

Serum™, SkinMist™ and HydraGel™ translate the system into fluid, sprayable and cushioned textures for different use occasions.

Adjust the system to climate and skin needs

Use all three time points when they add practical value, but scale the amount and frequency according to comfort, climate and existing products.

Use the complete three-stage system when

  • skin feels dehydrated or tight despite a regular routine;
  • air-conditioning, travel, heat or low-humidity environments increase daytime dryness;
  • a light morning texture and a more cushioned evening texture are preferred;
  • the products remain comfortable and do not cause pilling or excessive layering.

Simplify or reduce use when

  • skin already feels adequately hydrated with one or two stages;
  • humid weather makes multiple hydration steps feel excessive;
  • products pill under sunscreen or makeup;
  • stinging, redness or persistent discomfort develops;
  • another moisturiser already provides sufficient night-time richness.
Do not layer Serum™ directly underneath HydraGel™ as a default step. They share the same core hydration system. Use Serum™ in the morning and HydraGel™ at night so each format performs a distinct role without unnecessary duplication.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to use all three products every day?

No. The three-stage routine is an enhanced option for users who benefit from different hydration textures across the day. Use only the stages that add value for your skin and climate.

Are AquaLock Serum™ and HydraGel™ different active treatments?

They share the same core AquaLock ingredient system. Serum™ is the lighter fluid format, while HydraGel™ uses a silica-thickened structure for greater cushion and controlled application.

Can I apply AquaLock SkinMist™ over sunscreen or makeup?

Yes. Allow existing layers to set, mist lightly from a distance and avoid rubbing. Because misting or touching the face may affect sunscreen coverage, reapply sunscreen as appropriate.

How often should I use the SkinMist™?

Use it when needed rather than on a fixed hourly schedule. One midday top-up may be sufficient; additional light application can be used when skin feels dry or tight.

Can HydraGel™ be used after retinol?

Yes, when the skin remains comfortable. Apply the retinol product first, then a thin layer of HydraGel™. Reduce or stop retinol if persistent irritation develops.

Does this routine replace moisturiser?

It may provide sufficient hydration for some skin types, particularly in humid climates. Drier skin may still benefit from a compatible moisturiser, especially when barrier support or additional occlusion is needed.

Does AquaLock SkinMist™ replace sunscreen top-ups?

No. AquaLock SkinMist™ is a hydration product and does not provide reliable UV protection. Maintain and reapply broad-spectrum sunscreen according to exposure and product directions.
