Micellar Cosmetics™ began with a simple observation:
most “advanced” beauty products weren’t actually designed around how skin and hair work.
They were built around heavy creams, oil-based emulsions, and outdated delivery systems — often masking good ingredients with poor formulation choices.
Our founder, a qualified organic and analytical chemist, saw a different path forward.
Instead of asking “what ingredient should we add next?”
the better question became:
“How should active ingredients really be delivered?”
Rethinking the Formula

Traditional formulations often struggle to deliver active ingredients past the surface — especially when actives are unstable, incompatible, or trapped in heavy bases.
Micellar Cosmetics™ was born from years of research into:

The goal was not to create louder products — but smarter ones.
The Birth of the Green Micellar™ System

Through this research, the Green Micellar™ System was developed — a proprietary organic nano-delivery platform capable of carrying water-soluble and oil-soluble actives together in a stable, lightweight formulation.
This breakthrough allowed us to:
- Stabilise sensitive ingredients like Vitamin C, peptides, retinol alternatives, and Coenzyme Q10
- Eliminate the need for heavy oils and synthetic polymer micelles
- Create ultra-light serums, mists, gels, and cleansers
- Maintain comfort, penetration, and daily usability

Why Micellar Cosmetics™ exists
I didn’t set out to create another beauty brand.
As a chemist, I spent years studying how ingredients behave — not just in isolation, but inside real formulations, under real-world conditions. What stood out to me was how often promising actives failed, not because they were ineffective, but because they were delivered poorly.
Too many products relied on heavy oils, unstable emulsions, or incompatible ingredient systems. Others chased trends, adding more and more ingredients without questioning whether they could actually reach the skin or hair in a meaningful way.
Micellar Cosmetics™ began as an attempt to solve that problem at the formulation level.
Instead of building products first, I focused on building a delivery system — one that could be water-based, stable, lightweight, and capable of carrying complex active combinations without compromise. That work eventually became the Green Micellar™ System.
What matters to me is not complexity, but clarity:
- Clear thinking
- Clear formulations
- Clear benefits
