How to apply the HairSerum™
- Apply in the evening to a clean scalp that is dry or gently towel-dried.
- Use fingertips or a comb to create a part and expose the first priority area.
- Using the dropper without touching the scalp, place a few small drops along the part.
- Repeat across the hairline, temples, crown or other areas where focused support is desired.
- Use only enough to lightly cover the selected scalp areas; saturation is unnecessary.
- Massage gently with clean fingertips for approximately 30–60 seconds.
- Allow the serum to absorb and leave it on overnight. Do not rinse.
Follow the application directions on the product packaging. More product does not necessarily improve performance and may leave the roots feeling damp or coated.
How often to use and when to apply
Use according to the directions on the product packaging. Evening or before-bed application is particularly suited to careful, targeted use without competing with daytime styling products.
On wash days, apply after evening shampooing once the scalp has been towel-dried. Between wash days, apply only when the scalp is reasonably clean and free from heavy dry shampoo, oil or styling-product build-up.
Consistent application is more useful than applying a large quantity.
What “Colour-Revive” means
“Colour-Revive” describes cosmetic support for the visible quality, richness and vibrancy of hair through antioxidant, hydration and scalp-conditioning care.
The product does not contain hair dye, does not deposit pigment and does not provide immediate grey coverage. No claim is made that it reverses grey hair.
Where to apply: scalp versus hair lengths
The primary target is the scalp. Part the hair and apply directly to the skin around the hair roots, especially along the hairline, temples, visible part lines, crown or other priority areas.
Avoid dispensing most of the product onto the hair surface, where less of the serum will reach the intended application area. A small residual amount may contact the roots, but the formula is not intended to replace a rinse-off conditioner, hair mask or colour-protection treatment.
HairSerum™ or HairMist™?
Choose HairSerum™ for more concentrated, dropper-controlled application to priority scalp areas. It is particularly suited to an evening or overnight routine.
Choose HairMist™ for a lighter, faster spray format across broader scalp areas. It is particularly convenient for morning or daytime application.
The two formats may be used within the same overall routine when desired: HairSerum™ for targeted evening treatment and HairMist™ for lighter daytime application. Using both is optional.
What to expect and when
Immediate benefits may include a hydrated, conditioned scalp and hair that feels smoother, better maintained or more lustrous. Changes in visible vibrancy and overall hair quality require regular use and should be assessed over sustained, consistent use.
Hair appearance is influenced by the natural hair-growth cycle, scalp condition, grooming practices, environmental exposure and routine consistency, so broader visible changes should not be judged after only a few applications. The product does not produce an immediate colour change.
If hair colour changes suddenly or scalp symptoms are persistent, painful or severe, seek advice from an appropriate healthcare professional.
Compatibility and styling advice
Q10 Colour-Revive HairSerum™ may be used with a mild shampoo, rinse-off conditioner, colour-care products and normal styling products. Evening application reduces interference with styling. Allow the serum to absorb before going to bed.
Q10 Colour-Revive HairMist™ may be used during the morning or daytime as the lighter format. Avoid over-saturating the scalp when both formats are used within the same day.
Avoid applying immediately after hair colouring, bleaching, chemical straightening, microneedling or other procedures that leave the scalp sensitive. Follow the relevant professional aftercare instructions.
Important precautions and patch testing

- Avoid contact with the eyes, face and mucous membranes.
- Do not apply to broken, sunburned, inflamed or markedly irritated scalp.
- Do not allow the dropper tip to touch the scalp or fingers.
- Stop use if persistent redness, itching, burning or discomfort occurs.

Patch test
Before first use, apply a small amount behind the ear or to a discreet area of the scalp and observe for 24–48 hours. Do not proceed if marked redness, swelling, itching or persistent discomfort develops. A patch test cannot guarantee that irritation will not occur during continued use.

Do I rinse it out?
No. It is designed as an intensive leave-on scalp serum. Apply in the evening and leave it on overnight.
Can I apply it to colour-treated hair?

Will it make my hair oily?
