1. Use in the morning, during the day or after washing on a clean scalp.
2. Part the hair loosely to expose the hairline, crown and broader scalp areas.
3. Hold the spray a short distance from the scalp and apply a light, even mist.
4. Avoid spraying directly into the eyes, face or onto clothing.
5. Massage gently with clean fingertips for approximately 20–30 seconds.
6. Allow the mist to dry, then style the hair as usual.
7. Do not rinse.

Use the number of sprays stated on the final product packaging. The scalp should feel lightly refreshed rather than saturated.

Use once daily or as a convenient top-up during the day, unless the packaging directs otherwise. Morning use is particularly suitable because the spray format is quick to apply and can be incorporated into a normal grooming routine.

It may also be used after shampooing on a towel-dried scalp or between wash days when the scalp is reasonably clean and not heavily coated with dry shampoo, oil or styling products.

Frequent light application is preferable to occasional heavy spraying.

The main target is the scalp and the environment around the hair roots. Spray across visible part lines, the hairline, temples and crown, then massage gently to distribute.

Some mist may naturally contact the hair near the roots. This can provide light conditioning, but the product is not intended to replace a rinse-off conditioner, hair mask or dedicated heat-protection product.

Choose HairMist™ for a lighter, quicker format that covers larger scalp areas and is convenient for morning use, daytime refreshment and top-up application.

Choose HairSerum™ for concentrated, dropper-controlled application to priority scalp areas as an intensive evening or overnight treatment.

The formats can be combined in one routine: HairSerum™ at night and HairMist™ during the day. This combination is optional rather than mandatory.

HairMist™ is especially useful on days when there is limited time for precise dropper application. A light morning spray can provide broad scalp coverage, while an additional small top-up may be used later in the day if the scalp remains clean and comfortable.

Avoid repeated spraying simply to keep the hair wet. The intended benefit comes from consistent, controlled application rather than visible saturation.

Immediate benefits may include a refreshed, hydrated scalp and hair that feels smoother or better maintained. Changes in the visible quality, resilience or fullness of fragile-looking hair require regular use and should be assessed over time.

Hair grows slowly and follows a natural cycle, so allow at least 8–12 weeks of consistent routine use before judging broader appearance changes. Cosmetic products cannot reverse genetic, hormonal, nutritional or medical causes of hair loss.

If shedding is sudden, patchy, severe or accompanied by pain, scaling or inflammation, seek advice from a doctor or dermatologist.

Q10 Fall-Defense HairMist™ may be used with a mild shampoo, rinse-off conditioner and normal styling products. Allow the mist to dry before applying heavy styling products.

When Q10 Fall-Defense HairSerum™ is used at night, the HairMist™ may be used the following morning or later in the day as a lighter top-up. Avoid excessive layering that leaves the scalp or roots persistently wet.

If using another concentrated scalp treatment, introduce products separately or use them at different times. Avoid use immediately after hair colouring, bleaching, chemical straightening, microneedling or procedures that leave the scalp sensitive.

Patch test

Before first use, spray a small amount behind the ear or onto a discreet scalp area and observe for 24–48 hours. Do not proceed if marked redness, swelling, itching or persistent discomfort develops. A patch test cannot guarantee that irritation will not occur during continued use.

Do I rinse it out?

No. It is a lightweight leave-on daytime scalp mist.

Can I use it on dry hair?

Yes. It may be sprayed onto a clean, dry scalp or used after washing on a towel-dried scalp.

Will it make my hair greasy?

The diluted spray format is designed to feel light. Use a modest number of sprays and direct them toward the scalp rather than saturating the hair.

Can I use it more than once during the day?

A light top-up may be used if required, provided the scalp remains clean and comfortable. Repeated heavy spraying is unnecessary.

Can it stop hair loss or regrow hair?
